Author Topic: Race Built AOD for Modular motor WIKD 281 CaliforniaFords.com Owner Member # 40 posted                                 I had this tranny in my car and it was slipping in 1st gear. It has less than 250 miles on complete re-build. All parts were bought from OEM transmissions in san leandro off of davis street and I spent around $1,200 on parts alone. A friend of mine re-built it, but was slipping shortly after re-build and I didnt want to deal with it anymore, so I put in a 6-speed. My loss is your gain. This trans was in my car 99 cobra with Solid rear. Most likely will fit GT the same. Comes complete with: -Reverse manual valve body. -BBK hammer shifter, manual rachet shifter -switch activated overdrive -Stalls out at 3,200 rpm -trans brake -aluminum drive shaft -BBK deep trans pan Requires slight modification to fit into an SN95 chassis.
