Interested in trading for a good gas commuter plus cash.
Up for sale is my 96 Mystic Cobra #1043. I have all the factory paperwork and the SVT certificate that came with the car. I'm trying to be very specific with this post and try to list everything the car has. The car passed smog very clean at the tail pipes. The body has 130K , approx 20-25K on the motor, 7K on King Cobra clutch, 40K on trans, approx 40-50K on rear end and suspension.
The engine was built by Houston Performance when the car had approx 110K. 99 aluminum Cobra block, factory steel crank, Eagle H beam rods, JE dished forged pistons, billet oil pump gears, ARP head studs, FMS water pump, heads rebuilt, new sliders, tensioners and timing chains. The engine is solid and built for boost so a blower can be added safely. Its had regular oil changes with Mobile 1 5W30 synthetic since break in. It has an aftermarket aluminum radiator for cooling.
The exhaust system consists of BBK long tube headers, custom built X pipe and a Flowmaster stainless catback. For smog I installed a pair of factory cats from an 03 H pipe.
The trans was replaced with a 35K mile T45 when I installed a new King Cobra clutch around 4K miles ago. It has an unknown brand short shifter and synthetic fluid. The one it does need is an adjustable cable and quadrant, the pedal is high and gets annoying after a while.
The rear end has 4.10 gears with Moser axles.
The car has the complete Griggs GR40 suspension under it. Torque arm, panhard bar, aftermarket rear lower control arms with the solid bushings, unknown brand lowering springs, Bilstein adjustable struts, Koni adjustable shocks, adjustable front coil over springs, tubular K member, tubular front control arms, camber caster plates and weld in sub frame connectors. The ride is decent and it handles great. The only real downside is the suspension is more for road racing so it makes more noise than stock and the tail pipes rattle on the panhard bar sometimes.
The brakes are stock Cobra calipers, new front pads, almost new rear pads and cross drilled rotors all around. Car rides on 18x8 18x10 Deep Dish custom mystic bullits.
I'm the third owner on the car and overall the condition is good. I have the original SVT papers and certificate. The body has a few small dings and scratches but nothing major, the car still gets compliments constantly. , the front bumper has some scratches down low, there is one chip about the size of a quarter on the pass fender with some clear coat peeling and some small rock chips on the hood. The black leather interior is all in good shape with only minor wear on the seats, the car has had tinted windows that I'm sure helped prevent sun damage. It has white face Autometer Phantom water temp, oil pressure and amp gauges along with a matching 5" tach and shift light. Its got the factory Mach 460 stereo with an Alpine CD head unit.

I have a 96' Nissan Maxima GLE. Dark Green almost black looking, Auto with all options, CLEAN Tan leather and 94,XXX mi. Overall its a 9.5/10 car with no mechanical issues whatsoever. LMK
