1985 Mustang GT 5 speed car was a roller motor so it will have a hardened gear bro.
You can get just the gear.

yep that's what i need, the hardened steel gear not the cast iron gear. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
and i would rather just pick up the whole distributor than mess with changing the gear.

ya i was thinking about a reman but they come without a module, then i was trying to figure out what module they are talking about, the duraspark box? i have a couple of those, hmm ill have to look into it.
