Hi: I just bought a second splitport V6 fuel rail for my splitport upgrade on my 24 Hours of Lemons track car. The idea was that I could cut apart this second fuel rail and have a single rail for one side that doesn't have any welds on it -- just a barb at each end. I would mate this to the FPR and a similar rail from my original splitport rail and I'll have my splitport system solved w/o any fuss.
The problem is that the guy who sold it to me neglected to include the Fuel Pressure Sensor so I now have a hole right next to the fuel pressure relief valve. If I had wanted to weld up this new rail, I would have just stuck with the rail that I already owned.
Q: Does anyone have a used 99-04 fuel pressure sensor you are willing to part with for cheap?
I have a return-style fuel system in this car so I don't care if it's broken (internals or connector) provided you give me the sensor plus the two bolts and the rubber o-ring that is in good enough condition that it will seal the hole in the rail against the ~40PSI of a pressurized rail. My fueling system uses a vacuum operated fuel pressure regulator to regulate fuel pressure.
From rockauto, the following cars have compatible fuel pressure sensors for me needs: FORD CROWN VICTORIA (2003 - 2004) FORD E-150 (2005 - 2006) FORD E-250 (2005 - 2006) FORD EXPLORER (2004 - 2005) FORD F-150 (2004 - 2008) FORD FOCUS (2000 - 2004) FORD GT (2005 - 2006) FORD MUSTANG (1999 - 2004) FORD TAURUS (2002 - 2007) FORD THUNDERBIRD (2002 - 2005) LINCOLN AVIATOR (2003 - 2005) LINCOLN CONTINENTAL (1998 - 2002) LINCOLN LS (2000 - 2006) LINCOLN TOWN CAR (2003 - 2006) MERCURY GRAND MARQUIS (2003 - 2004) MERCURY MARAUDER (2003 - 2004) MERCURY MOUNTAINEER (2004 - 2005) MERCURY SABLE (2002 - 2005) MERCURY TRACER (1998 - 1999)
Please PM me if you can help me out. My shipping address is 94043 or if you are in the Bay Area, I might just be able to pick it up from you.
