Here's all the info for everyone:

THE CAR IS A SALVAGED TITLE.

IM SELLING MY 89 MUSTANG GT, I WAS BUILDING THE CAR FOR MY SON AND NOW HE WANTS AN OLD SCHOOL. THE CAR IS IN FAIRLY GOOD CONDITION YOU REALLY HAVE TO SEE IT AND DECIDE FOR YOURSELF.

EXTERIOR- THE EXTERIOR IS BASICALLY STOCK EXCEPT FOR A 4" CERVINI'S COWL HOOD(PAINTED BLACK TO MATCH CAR), NEW HEADLIGHTS AND LX LIGHTS. THE BODY HAS A FEW DINGS HERE AND THERE AND STARTING TO FADE A LITTLE. tHE CAR HAS 16" SATIN PONIES WITH NEW BF GOODRICH G-FORCE SPORTS9 LESS THAN 500 MILES).

INTERIOR- THE INTERIOR IN THE CAR IS ALL BLACK AND IS NEW OR IN NEW CONDITION. IT HAS BRAND NEW BLACK CARPET AND CENTER CONSOLE. THE FRONT SEATS ARE BRAND SCORPION BLACK LEATHER RACING SEATS. 140 MPH SPEEDO, ALL GAUGES WORK SPEEDO IS OFF BECAUSE OF GEARS IN THE REAR. THE CAR HAS A NEW $4K STEREO SYSTEM PIONEER HEAD UNIT(FLIP DOWN DETACH FACE), BOSTON'S ALL THE WAY AROUND, HIPHONICS BRUTUS(1600 WATTS) PUSHING 2 KICKER CVR 12'S. THE SYSTEM HAS OVER 2000 WATTS!!!!!. tHERE IS NO BOX IN THE HATCH, THE SYSTEM IS A CUSTOM INSTALL, THE REAR HATCH FLOOR WAS RAISED 2.5" AND THE 12'S WERE FLUSH MOUNTED IN THE FLOOR MUST SEE AND HEAR TO BELIEVE.

DRIVETRAIN- THE MILAGE ON THE CAR IS A MYSTERY THE MOTOR WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE BEEN REBUILT ABOUT 40K MILES AGO BUT THERE IS NO PAPERWORK TO PROVE THIS. THE MOTOR DOES RUN STONG AND DOESN'T BURN ANY OIL OR SMOKE. NOW FOR THE GOODIES, THE CAR HAD THE HEADS PORT/POLISHED AND SHAVED FOR COMPRESSION WHEN THE MOTOR WAS REBUILT. I BELIEVE THIS TO BE TRUE JUST BECAUSE OF THE MPH AND 1/4 MILE TIME, BUT THERE IS NO DOCUMENTATION ON THIS. THE MOTOR HAS AN E-303 CAM, BBK CAI, BBK UNDERDRIVE PULLIES, BBK SHORTY HEADERS, BBK H-PIPE O/R(STOCK H-PIPE COMES WITH CAR FOR SMOG), SMOG PUMP STILL ON CAR BUT BYPASSED WITH SHORT BELT(STOCK BELT ALSO COMES WITH CAR FOR SMOG). 70MM THROTTLE BODY AND SPACER, MSD CAP, ROTOR, AND 8.8 WIRES, MSD BLASTER COIL, OPTIMA RED TOP BATTERY W/ CUSTOM 0/2 CABLES, FRPP ADJ. CABLE, NEWER KING COBRA CLUTCH (3K MILES) B&M RIPPER SHORT THROW SHIFTER, NEW UPPER/LOWER TUBULAR CONTROL ARMS, KYB GR2 STRUTS AND SHOCKS ALL THE WAY AROUND, NEWLY REBUILT REAR END W/AUBURN POSI RICHMOND 4.10'S ROYAL PURPLE FLUID. I KNOW IM LEAVING SOME THINGS OUT I'LL ADD THEM AS I REMEMBER.

THE CAR IS A SALVAGED TITLE. THERE IS LONG STORY BEHIND WHY THE CAR IS SALVAGED IT WAS NOT WRECKED OR STOLEN, BUT LIEN SOLD TO A JUNK YARD AFTER BEING IMPOUNDED FOR DRAG RACING AND UNPAID TICKETS(I'LL EXPLAIN THE WHOLE STORY IN PERSON OR OVER THE PHONE IT'S TO MUCH TO TYPE). iT'S A CLEAN CAR FOR ITS AGE. IT'S NOT THE FASTEST CAR ON THE STREET BUT IT MOVES PRETTY WELL. THE CAR RAN A BEST OF 13.4@103MPH ON STREET TIRES SIDEWAYS INTO 3RD GEAR. AT ONE POINT THE CAR HAD A 100HP SHOT ON IT AND RAN A 11.8@112MPH ON DRAG RADIALS. I WAS BUILDING THIS CAR FOR MY SON AND NOW HE WANTS TO GO WITH AN OLD SCHOOL INSTEAD. I HAVE CLOSE TO 12K INVESTED IN THE CAR AND I KNOW IM GOING TO TAKE A LOSS ON IT BUT WOULD LIKE TO GET $6500 OBO. I AM ALSO WILLING TO TRADE FOR AND OLD SCHOOL CHEVELLE, CAMARO, EL CAMINO, 67-72 CHEVY TRUCK(SHORT BED) I'M PRETTY MUCH OPEN TO ALL OFFERS CASH OR VEHICLES OR COMBO OF BOTH LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE. I'M IN THE PROCESS OF ADDING A COUPLE OF MORE THINGS TO THE CAR IN THE NEAR FUTURE ( HEADS, INTAKE, AND PUTTING NOS BACK ON) IF THE CAR DOESN'T SELL IN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO ILL JUST FINISH BUILDING IT AND KEEP IT FOR MYSELF AND BUY HIM SOMETHING ELSE.

YOU CAN REACH ME AT h.wyles@hotmail.com

car has a salvaged title but if you run the vin numbers in the door jamb in the hatch or on the fenders( which all match except for the dash) you'll see the car has never been in an accident, and it wasn't stolen, the only reason this vehicle is salvaged is because the vin on the dash came out of a lien sold vehicle from a junk yard(and no its not stolen W/vin job!!)the chp that did the inspection wouldnt register it under the door vin only the dash. but technically it is salvaged car.

Just as an FYI - The VIN is NOT on the dash, but mounted to the body of the car. You can change out the dash as many times as you want without effecting the VIN.

Just a quick question for PONE I seriously didnt know that they were on the actual car and not the dash. So if this is the case why is the VIN on my car different on the dash from everywhere else? All five other VIN's match except for the dash. I know the cars not stolen the CHP checked both the different VIN's and i've been pulled over a few times and they have run both sets of VINs and it came back clean. I guess i'm confused on how this car got this way then. Anyways i lowered the price on the car to $5500 OBO or trade for what ever i got about thirty different trade offeres but only a few that we were interested in. 69 camaro and 69 blazer. So anyways let me know what you have.

Where did you buy that car?

The VIN situation sounds EXACTLY like a black 89 GT 5 speed car I used to own, but when I had it there was grey interior in it.

Either way it is a salvage title, but does have mis matching VINS and has been CHP verified.

Also the VIN attaches to the body of the car not the dash.

Whoever fed you that line is full of it.
