I have an IRS out of a Cobra (02-04) that is mostly complete that I am selling for my friend, it has 3.27 gears in it but is missing the left side caliper and caliper bracket.I am still new to this site and haven't learned how to post pics here yet.
Can email pics as requested.

Ah ok my bad I did not know there was no 02 Cobra. I have however looked at sever Cobra IRS systems and this one is identical so maybe it is from an 03, the guy is 73 years old and did not remember if it was an 02 or 03 so it must be the 03.

If you don't know what your selling you might as well go ahead and delete your account now before you have to endure further scrutiny and heartache. Ford sale is not especially kind to extreme noobs

Well the 03/04 irs's have 3:55 gears factory and 31 spline axles...99/01 have 28 spline...$500 is a good deal no doubt but u should figure out what year the irs for a good sell,sorry for the cafords Nazi's,we love to fry newbies ![[Wink]](wink.gif) welcome to the site ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

Sounds like its from a 99/01 with the gear ratio at 3:27.

99 was 28 spline, 01,03,04 were all 31. 99 and 01 came with 3.27's while 03 & 04 came with 3.55's.

Probably off a 2001 Cobra. From the info you sent me it looks like it was manufactured in April 2001.
