i have a black on grey 1996 saleen mustang. 4.6 litre v8 5 speed car. i love the car but and there is nothing wrong with it. its just time to take care of some other things in life. this is a good running car. no major mechanical or cosmetic problems.. it has pretty average wear for a 12 year old car. i am technically the second owner but on paper it will say im the 3rd. long story.... the front fascia has the standard saleen paint flaking, its inevitable, these cars are super low stock with a long front bumper, they scrape on anything. a couple little dings and small blemishes here and there, nothing that would bother your eye much, driver side seat has a tear. overall the interior is a 7 or better out of 10. like i said the car is 12 years old and the original owner drove the car pretty much daily. i am selling the car for about $3000 less than what its worth, i know that the economy is hurting right now and also i dont want to haggle over this car. this is a very very fair deal on a very nice collectors car. just look at the pictures and you know what your getting. this car turns heads everywhere and has everybody asking questions. its a real fun car! please feel free to call with any questions. i am also interested in trades, i would prefer a early to mid 90's 4 cylinder commuter of some sort... something good on gas.. plus cash of course. let me know what you have. i am willing to work something out. thanks for checkin it out!!
by the way, this deal includes the authentic 98 svt cobra wheels that are on the car along with the original 18" saleen speedline wheels that i have in storage.

I think your price is fair though as is...the seat needs reupholstering, the side skirt needs to be replaced, and the front bumper needs paint...
Also, i think the actual market value is less than NADAGUIDES pricing. Theres a 97 S281 on CL right now in perfect condition with half as many miles as your's for $11k. Theres also another 96 with about 90K miles for $9250.
