We invite all Mustangs to attend Mustang Maddness! Mustang Maddness is a Mustang cruz in the city of San Francisco.
Date and Time
Saterday July 26th @ 5 pm
Start Location
6967 Mission St, Daly City
Smart and Final parking lot against the wall
End Location
Ocean beach Parking Lot
Great Highway @ Lincon
Route
Head north on Mission St toward Citrus Ave - 0.7 mi
2. Slight right to stay on Mission St - 3.9 mi
3. Turn right at Cesar Chavez - 0.1 mi
4. Turn left at S Van Ness Ave - 1.9 mi
5. Turn right at Market St - 1.9 mi
6. Market St turns right and becomes Steuart St - 0.1 mi
7. Turn left at Mission St - 308 ft
8. Turn left at The Embarcadero - 1.6 mi
9. Turn right to stay on The Embarcadero - 0.2 mi
10. Turn left at Taylor St - 0.2 mi
11. Turn left at North Point St/N Point St - 0.4 mi
12. Turn right at The Embarcadero - 0.8 mi
13. Turn right at Broadway St - 0.7 mi
14. Continue on Broadway Tunnel - 0.5 mi
15. Continue on Broadway St - 1.2 mi
16. Turn left at Divisadero St - 0.7 mi
17. Turn right at Geary Blvd - 3.5 mi
18. Continue on Point Lobos Ave - 0.9 mi
19. Continue on Great Hwy - 0.8 mi
End. Great Hwy at Lincon
Great Highway Parking Lot Ocean Beach
20.1 mi – about 1 hour 14 mins
This route without traffic will take 1 hour and 30 minutes however we should expect to run into traffic on Market, Embarcadero, and Broadway. This can add an other 30 to 45 minutes to the route.
At the end of the Cruz we will have a bon fire at Ocean Beach. i will be bringing some logs to burn please bring logs if you can so we can make a really big fire. Note: bring a jacket if you are coming to the bon fire. no mater how warm it is in downtown sf it is always cold at Ocean Beach.

i like the bomb fire idea at the beach but cops do harass you and sometimes cite for having a fire.. aug 3rd would be a very good day because mostly everyone is off on sundays... we should give the cruise name like "MUSTANG MADNESS CRUISE"....

Hey "Insurance Dude",,,, thanks for planning this cruise for us..... I know that Sunday August 3rd would be great, but was wondering if we can do it on July 26th? If thats ok with everyone.... I would love to join all of you for the cruise! Please let me know if the July 26th will work out! Thanks

hmmmmm, I may be able to make it, but do you guys really think that the crazy congestion and pothole filled roads of SF will make for a good Mustang cruise?

half the cruz will be in downtown and congestion and pot holes is what we will deal with there but the reason we are going there is to show off our rides and there is no better place to do that in the bay area IMO.
The other half of the cruz will be on the geary & great high way which are very long steches of open striat roads.
