Me and a few mustang enthusiasts are thinking about starting a new club here in northern california in the sacramento area. Events would be drag racing at sac race way on wednesday and saturday nights, meetings, friday night cruises, shows, ect. A $15 entry fee would get a club t-shirt and deacal with club logo (small for your stang to identify that your a member). Also a undecided yearly due to pay for meetings, bbq's, and show entry fee's. as for the club name were open to suggestions. The goal is to have a large quality club of the fastest mustangs in norther california there for the starting of this club is dependant on the interest of this and other mustang boards! I should add that the diffrence between this club and others is that its more like a "crew" or team of fox body 5.0's to late model stangs.
thanks, nick

well its all fox bodies, sn95's, and present possibly some classics but we want the club to primarily be more race than show. any one in north cali can join but meetings will take place at sac race way and cruises in the surrounding area.

yeah my stangs taking longer then i thought! the lambo doors are pretty tricky I was trying to modify a kit but there coming out with a sn95 kit so i sold the old kit and ordered the sn95 one. so it will be a few months befor i get my car back together and the crew started! but it'll be worth it and yeah ill let nice classics in but theres gotta be a standard you know. any body got some good crew names? and for the people who are interested what kind of stangs do you have? clubs are nothing but an opportunity to get your car either stolen or keyed...meets give nothing but an opportunity to shady thieves to get to know your car on a personal stealable level...i'll pass, a warning to the wise...peace

We already got one Come check it out and register sometime... www.sacstangs.com People are really cool and friendly and we go cruise Sunrise, make trips out to the track, have BBQ's and whatnot. If you wanna start your own one up thats cool too, we could still meet up and have a big crew of Mustangs cruising around.

I dont undestand the purpose of a club. Whats the difference between one of those or just going out cruising and racing together? Just seems like a complicated way of doing the same thing everyone else does without calling it a club.
