Just got the entry form for the Sept Saleen Show in Irvine, had to call someone at Saleen to get it, for some reason it's not on their website.......if anybody needs a copy of it I can email it to them, it's been converted to pdf format.
FYI.....entry is $25 if you register before 8/31 after it's $35

all saleens are bunched together by year, but it did say that if they got more then 10 entries then they might sperate the coupes and speedsters.

Brian......ok on it's way.
Yeah that's the way it usually is with the classes...they should get enough entries to split them, at least in the 94-98 and 99-2002 ones.

Why don't they have a V6 class? I have the entry form that they handed out at the Knott's show, but don't know if I am to enter or not. I will be there to watch though.

(New to the board). I will be there with all 3 of my Saleens. It will be one of the rare times I will have all 3 cars out together. Stop by and say hi. I would like to meet more Stangers. I don't get out much due to my work schedule (6 days a week. 10-12 hour days).

Hey Saleenfan,
Is that you George? I know there aren't that many folks in the area that have that many Saleens.

Hey what's up Dave. How are things. Are you going to the show this year. Do you have any plans yet? I'd like to get another caravan going. Hopefully we won't have to make the "mandatory" stop at Chicane.

Hey saleenfan,
Do you still have the stock saleen suspension? How do your 18's fit on the '89? Im thinking about new wheels and was just wondering if you had any problems fitting those under there.

Hey Dean, I there was never really a topic for me to reply to so I've just been lurking in the background.
Hey Ray, how ya been. We'll be heading down to the show again this year. Not sure as to the details yet. I'm pretty sure that we'll be leaving friday morning though.

Hey Dave. Yeah it's me, George. The S351 is a recent addition. I just bought it from Mark @ Performance Autosport. It's Laser Red and built off of a 1995 GT/GTS chassis. See you at the show.

The stock Saleen suspension is still on my car. I have 4 "front offset" 18x8.5" Saleen wheels fitted with 245/40/18 Nitto Extremes. Fitment problems are not an issue as long as you don't try to fit too wide of a tire. A slight rubbing problem with the rears at full jounce was remedied by slightly rolling the rear fender lips. The fronts fit fine and the only problem I had was the bearing cap on the rotor did not allow me to use the center cap. This was remedied by shortening the spindle and using a flatter wheel bearing dust cap. Another remedy would be to use a '94 and up front brake/spindle set up (as the wheels were really designed for '94 and newer cars). I will be upgrading to a 13" Cobra brake set up as the stock brakes look puny behind the 18's. I would probably stick with 17" wheels to make life easier although I think 18" wheels look pretty tight on a Fox body.

What's up Dean. You're not still trying to sell your Saleen are you? That car is too pretty to let go. And as you can see from my sig, I have a tough time of letting cars go (not included in my sig is an '87 "Saleen-ized" LX and a '93 Bronco I use as my daily). See you at the show.

George: I think I've gone past the point of no return w/ my Saleen. Things are being done to it even as we speak...it looks like a keeper. Your building a crazy collection there!
Kevin: I'm pretty sure you know what I'm betting on no rush though, I'm in the middle of many things right now

Thanks for the info saleenfan. I just noticed that you live in mountain view. I live in los altos, right next to mountain view high school. Where exactly do you live? It sounds like you don't drive your saleens much, and i've never seen them around either. I drive a metallic blue 88 GT with a saleen wing and stormin normin hood, stalker front bumper...Maybe i'll see you around soon.

My brother went to MVHS. I went to LAHS. You don't live to far away from me. You're right, I don't drive my cars much but they do get driven. Only in good weather and usually on weekends.
