I think it'd be fun to get some Stangs together and cruise up to Cache Creek and do a little gambling. For those of you who don't know, it's a casino on an Indian reservation for people 18 and over. It's like a regular casino in Reno, but without the alcohol. I'm looking more for east bay people since it would be easier for us to meet somewhere and then go up, but whoever wants to go that's coo. The cruise will probably appeal more to those who are under 21. I'm thinking maybe we can do this around June/July when the weather is a lot better. From Hayward, it's about a 1 1/2 - 2 hour drive...which is enough for a fun cruise.
You can find some more info at their website ...but there's not much on there. They pay out good too. First time I went, I won $400 .
So, if you guys are down for this let me know. I'll go from there and figure out a good date.

I think I'd do that. I don't want to lose too much money though.

I love that place. as a matter of fact, Im heading out there in about 30 minutes hehe... if you want to have a chance at winning, stay away on fri, sat and sun nights, its way too packed, hardly any tables available ... if you want to just have fun, then anytime is kool.

I've set up a date for July 20th (Saturday)....just don't know all the details yet. Meeting place, time, etc. I wanna know where everyone is coming from so I can set up a decent spot for us to meet. Also, I need to know roughly how many cars we may have coming. If there's a lot, we should do it in the afternoon because it's going to be a bitch finding parking especially at night. I think it'd be a lot of fun to start the cruise around 6 p.m. while there's plenty of daylight and by the time we get up there it would be getting dark, which adds for a better atmosphere at the casino. That probably won't happen if we have too many people. I'm going to plan the meeting place/time based off whoever lets me know they're coming.

UPDATE: Just got back 2 hours ago ... with $1000 extra in my pocket. You might want to check with the security people, they are just really strict about everything ... so make sure you get an approval to hold a gathering/meeting type thing in their lot ... you will probably have to park in the lot in the back on the hill so its away from the casino ... the rest of the lot is way too packed no matter what time you go ... later

Ok, here's the deal.....
Since it looks like we're going to have some people from the Livermore/Pleasanton area coming too, we should have the meeting place at Foster's Freeze in Dublin once again since a lot of you already know where it's at because of the last meet. From there, it will take about 1 1/2 hours or so to get up there. I would really like to keep this cruise small if at all possible. The more we have, the harder it is to get parking. It'd be best to have no more than 15 cars and that's really asking for it. So far from the posts, it looks like we may have about 10 cars so far. I will be inviting a couple Chevy guys that I know as well. We can all cruise up there together and it's pretty much every car for themselves in terms of a parking spot. Once we get there, everyone's on their own....do what you please! I will be taking a trip up there probably in June with a couple guys and get an idea of the parking situation on a Saturday night. If it's going to be too much of a bitch, I will make the cruise in the afternoon.
Bottom line...July 20th, meet a Foster's Freeze for about a half hour until everyone gets there, then leave. I will make my final decision on the time in June, so keep an eye out for a post then .
