Wasup everyone... since we only probably only have a few more weeks until winter sets in, I think we need another cruise...
My plan is this....
Start off @ the home depot on Meadowveiw & pocket road in south Sacramento @ 11:00 am saturday 11/17/07. Roll out time will be @ 11:30 am SHARP!!!!From there head south down highway 160, up the delta approximately 50 miles. Then when we get to Rio Vista @ HWY 12, we will head west towards fairfeild/ Suisin city...
This is a very fun & scenic road with alot of good photo ops & also some nice twisties & straightaways...Not sure how the traffic will be that day, but i have driven those roads many times on weekdays & it seems ok, plus what the hell its a chance to get out & cruise the Stangs .We will most likely stop a few times on the way & then we will figure out a destination in the fairfeild area to stop & regroup...Then peeps can head either back to Sac or the Bay up hwy 80, or we can cruise some more, for those who are down.....
I will be doing this if 2 or 50 cars show up, so anyone who's interested, reply here.....

I just drove around there on Sat.
Interestng roads and some steep embankments if you go off so drive carefull. It's supposed to rain this sat so maybe the 17th is better.

Is it supposed to rain??? I didnt know that....
Its definately a fun, but dangerous trek if your not alert & careful.....but its beautiful out there on a nice day.......i used to drive that road from antioch to west sac on a daily basis when i ws doing delivery so i know it very well...I used to smash my E250 work van on those roads @ 75 mph like i was driving a Stang...LOL!!!!

hey, im in fairfield too....i actually have a small mexican restaurant on west texas st...if you guys wanna meet there maybe i can ask my boss tomorrow if he can give you guys a discount on some food if you guys wanna eat or something.

thats the problem...its kinda small....but right next door is Aarons and they have a huge parking lot...i'll ask tho if they will mind if we parked there

The best thing to do would be to choose a restaurant like Chevy's or in and out burger or something and park their. Theirs alot of restaraunts by the mall to go to. Their is also a applebees and a Red Robin inside the Mall. Maybe we should have a vote to see what kind of food people want. The cops will not really bother anyone as long as people are not spinning doughnuts in the parking lot LOL!

Well, were down 4 whatever...It will take us about 2 hrs to get there from Sac, so just let us know where a good spot is in Fairfeild & we will be there....Its lookin like next weekend the 18th, because I think its gonna rain this weekend...

.One of these days, i wanna do a 160 cruise & then up to the backroads outside of pittsburgh/antioch/brentwood...Or the one in between Concord & Brentwood...i think it was called Marsh Creek/ Clayton road??? it also will take u through some twisties & u will eventually end up in the town of Byron off of hwy 4 & discovery bay....that will have to be next time though....
