Well went out to the track today, and had a great time. Still have some suspension adjustments to make to get this thing to 60ft on motor, but every run was in the 11's, and hit a new best ET.
60ft was a crap 1.68, and I know this thing can gain a lot right there with some 28" tires, and adjustable shocks/struts.

Very nice, are you going to go with more gear with the 28" tire?

Thinking about 4.10s, but with more gear the converter will flash lower. I will probably use the 3.73s first and see where it traps, I think I could run out of gear with the 4:10's and the bottle.

pretty impressive for stock bottom end, any weight reduction? Drag suspension? I currently have a similar setup in my 86 GT. [ December 08, 2012, 11:49 PM: Message edited by: ILLMNRD86 ]

The car looks good and that is a great ET for that speed. I am surprised that it went that quick without having a better 60ft. The auto definitely helps. I can shift pretty quickly, but it took 115mph for me to run 11.80 with a similar 60ft and my Tremec.

Yeah the C4 is nice. I think once I get my nitrous issue worked out we will see what this bad boy can really do. The converter is designed for the bottle.

Thinking about 4.10s, but with more gear the converter will flash lower. I will probably use the 3.73s first and see where it traps, I think I could run out of gear with the 4:10's and the bottle.
With a 28" tire you want 4.10s with your setup, you wont run out of gear. If you run a 26" tire then get 3.73s.

With the C4 and a nitrous run I might. I am going to switch to some 28s and figure gear from there on a nitrous pass.

Yea my math was a little off.... You might be right. I was thinking you could get closer to 130 with the 4.10 but its more like 116 or so.... So you might wanna go with 3.73s. That would at least give you the mph to get into the 10s
