I have a 97 vert gt. What so you guys think my time will be in 1/4 mile. I have cold air intake k&n and straight back exhaust. I'm guessing 15. My goal would be to get in 12 with NA motor

As is high 15s. You will need weight reduction and a bolt-on pi motor for 12s. Plus gears and slicks. By bolt-on I mean cams also. Cheap nowadays. I did a bolt on 99 that went 12s. Not that hard.

Just get the 99-04 gt motor and do the swap = 60+ hp bolt ons like longtubes, pullies, intake, and 410's, and Dont forget the drag radials.

Stock crank will be fine, but cobra cranks are cheap so why not.

If you go cobra crank, remember it's 8bolt so you'll need a new flywheel

If you are doing the pistons and rods, find a cobra crank. They are cheap, I think there is one for sale on here somewhere.

No gain. Just a stronger crank to hold more power.

With this setup up you should hit 12s I have it that same setup and I'm in the 12s. With my npi setup with full bolt on I was hitting 14 flats. Just get a pi swap with cams full bolt on and 4.10s and spray you'll see 11s

If your planning on just hitting 12z all you need to do is put those pistons and rods in the block, get a pi swap, stage 1 or 2 cams, longtubes n little bolt ons and hit some spray on it and you will for sure be hitting 12z, low 11z if you go nitrous crazy haha
Best mod in anyone's car, A GOOD DRIVER!?!
