Plenty of room for improvement considering my poor 60'. It's amazing what 100% stock cars are capable of these days with 91 octane and 5year/100k mile powertrain warranties!

Nice! 60ft isn't actually too bad. It's pretty hard to launch those cars, takes some seat time. What do those dyno stock? 530?

The guys on the east cost with badass tracks are getting high 1.5 to low 1.6 60's. Here is my dyno:

Haha, Damn better time than me on your street tires than when I ran on DR's. You should come out with us sometime. We have a small group of friends which consists of about 6 Z06s and a couple vipers. All modded. We go out cruising, hit the scenic route/highway, just out having fun.

How the hell does that thing even run with sub 10.0 AFR's! You could get tons of power out of it just by tuning in a flat 11.5 AFR.
That is pretty sweet. How does this compare to your Z06 with just drag radials? It seems like it is pretty damn close. I thought the ZR1 would be faster? I know I saw a stock Z06 trap 125mph before, but I only say it was stock because that is what the driver told me. I thought you got a really low 11 @ 125 with yours in stock trim.
Are you crossing in 3rd or 4th? If 4th, how close are you to the finish line when you make the 3-4 shift?

Craig, look at his posted numbers on his posts at the bottom:
'10 ZR1 Bone Stock on Stock Tires = 11.23 @ 125.9 / Bone Stock on DR's = 10.99 @ 128.5

Hey Don,
I saw that, but I am pretty sure he used to have a ZO6 and I only see numbers for his ZR1. I thought his times in the ZO6 were pretty close to his ZR1's. I believe the ZR1 is rated at 125 more hp so I would expect more than 3mph and a couple tenths in the 1/4. Maybe the ZR1 is heavier?

Yes I did have a 2007 Z06 previously which is listed at 3180 pounds. My best times were: Bone Stock on Stock Tires = 11.55 126.6 w/ a 1.95 60' / Bone Stock on DR's = 11.22 @ 125.6 w/ a 1.79 60'.
The ZR1 is listed as 3350 pounds. On my DynoJet the ZR1 makes 86rwhp more than my Z06 did stock vs stock. 541rwhp vs 455rwhp. However the factory rates the ZR1 with 133hp more(638hp vs. 505hp).
Looking at the "Fastest List" on the corvette forums the ZR1's are about 3 tenths and 3 MPH faster in the 1/4 mile compared to the Z06's. [ March 06, 2012, 07:10 PM: Message edited by: Jeff S ]

The Z06 is much closer to the ZR1 then I thought it would be. No wonder I took one out in the time trials heads up at Infineon. I had my 11.50 setup at 120mph. His car was modified with a pulley and I beleive he said a dual stage meth injection. He showed us a 1 mile card that was around 186mph and claimed well over 600rwhp. His mph was much higher than mine but he couldn't get it off the line. I think he ran 11.62 @ 126mph and I ran 11.56 @ 121mph.
Which one do you like better? I would think the Z06 might be better on a road course but the blown 6.2 might be more fun if it has a lot more mid-range torque.

Congrats Mr. S.
Hey thanks Mr. W. What's crazy is how rich it is at WOT yet I can roadrace it, drag race it, put 100k miles+ on it, and never have any problems with valve guides, bearings, rings, ect...

The ZR1 feels like a completely different car compared to my Z06. Everything about it feels superior however I must admit that the Z06 felt much more responsive and "snappier" at part throttle. I have a feeling if you were to compare a similarly optioned 2010 Z06 with the magnetic suspension then the cars would feel much more similar as the newer C6's are much more refined than the 05-07's. The Z06 with the Ultimate Performance(Z07) package is supposed to be about the same if not slightly quicker around smaller road courses but the ZR1 wins at the drag strip and larger tracks like Nürburgring.
