Took the yellow 67 out for its real first time down the 1320... this was also my first time down the track with real tires, 26-10.5 et streets. First run car dead hooked! but just past the 1/8 my intercooler manifold sleeve blew out spraying water all over my winshield, let out and coasted to a 11.7 at 111. Thought i fixed it went for a second time, same bullshit.. 11.6. 93.0mph! 3 rd time blew it at the launch... shitty night for the car but great night for watching some badass cars! Ratfast your car is my dream fox. Also i hear that some people wanna talk some shit behind my back... got a problem with me or my car i would love to hear it from your mouth. -Talon

You weren't the only one having problems last night, only got one good run. We had fuel pump problems on Friday, had to install the spare pump, right before the track, funny thing is it came from your car when it had a twin turbos from the previous owner. I am the guy who offered to help push in the staging lanes.

I wouldn't take peoples curiousity with car as talking shit......a lot of us have been under it in it etc....its been many peoples labor of love. I know 3 of the past owners.
I'm glad to see it out running.
What did the 1/8 mile times look like?
Car is surely a beast with over 600 to the wheels and light weight

65mustang408 - Thanks for the compliments. Your car is badass, plus it just sounds wicked. You'll get the bugs sorted out and the times will come.
racsirx - wish I would have got to meet you, as I still plan on picking up those gears for you.
93Pony - Nice to meet you. 22 degrees
Yellow94GT - Good to see you. Do I get an AED sticker if you welded my torque boxes? The lady at the ticket booth gave me crap all night.
chicken coupe - bring your car out, it's always good to see some more notches
Again thanks to everyone I got to meet. The last run of the night I finally ran my neighbor in his '66 mustang with the lenco. It was my best pass of the night. 10.605 at 131.699 1.667 60 ft. Not bad for 91 octane

Thanks for the props. I just gotta make sure I always make that 4th to 5th gear change smoothly if I want a good pass. Amazingly the stock shifter that came with the T56 works pretty good.

Great job Talon. I'm happy to see that car finally going down the track. Do sweat the little bugs. Every fresh combo is bound to have something like that happen. Every part failure is just a chance to upgrade!

Brandon w/ the '66 Mustang went 10.79 at 125. On the last pass he got the car to hook, but bogged the motor a little. He should be back with some quicker passes once he gets the new combo sorted out.
