u cant assume what gears are best. it really depends on your cars whole setup.

depends on your combo.
what tires you running? what rpm is redline? vehicle weight? HP?
those are probably the major ones.

for ur setup i wud go 3.73 cus if u did get 4.10 u wud hate drivin ur stang on the freeway and 3.73 still get off the line quick

+1 I got 373 and I like them alot u get off the line pretty fast and there not that bad driving on the freeway for gas milage.

i have 3.70 gears on a 3 speed c6 with 28" tires and i think its fine on the freeway. If you use your car everyday for commuting you might not like it but really its perfectly liveable IMO.
BTW 3.70 gears w/a C6 and 28" tires is equivalent (freeway RPM) to running 4.90 gears on a mustang with an overdrive gear and 26" tall tires so if i had a small block i would definately get the 4.10's to try to make up for the lack of torque UNLESS youre trapping both 125+mph AND have a shift point under 6500rpm [ February 23, 2011, 10:54 AM: Message edited by: MauriSSio ]
