Had a great time at the track today. There was a very good turn out. Just the right amount of cars to keep thing entertaining.
I got another chance at driving the cars that I drove horribly a few weeks ago and I think, I redeemed myself somewhat. The best we got out of the 03 Cobra Vert was a 10.73 @ 130.8 with a sad 1.70 60ft time. This car just over powers the ET streets once it is uncer full boost so the 60fts are far from great. We are going to work on the 60's and wait for the cooler weather and see if this car can't get into the 10.5's.
Also, Shaun was out in Heathers car which has turned into another brakcet race car just like his Cobra. ![[Razz]](tongue.gif) 10.90's seem to be the norm. Except for that 10.88 I ran in it. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
All in all, a great day of racing. No breakage and everyone drove home. ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)
BTW, we had three 10 second AED street cars running today. I wont post about the third, cause this is a Ford Message board and it is a GM product. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Drew,,,does the vid look smashed in from the sides to you?? It does on my tv, but its the big widescreen so it might just be my POS

My monitor is a 21 inch widescreen, so yeah, it doesn't take up my whole monitor either. Doesn't look bad though.

Right click on the video and got to vid options,,,,u can change the aspect ratio. Fixed it to widescreen for me

Let me guess....the third AED street car you wont comment on is a black firebird?? haha. AND wheres the vid of this baddass cobra you keep talking about? We don't tune the GM's, just spin wrenches on them. And yes, the black bird is the other car. Chris's car runs crazy hard for his miss-matched gearing/tires. So his car will only be getting faster and faster. ![[Smile]](smile.gif)
Heathers car is deffinately a killer setup! It was good to see it cutting solid consistant 1.5's all day long. I'm sure in January it will go even faster given some hook. ![[burnout]](graemlins/burnout.gif)
As for the Cobra, hopefully someone will join/chime in with pics and vids of that car soon.

Shaun did all of the brain work for my motor. I did all the wrenching Drew!! get it straight. haha I even had to put the motor together twice! ![[Frown]](frown.gif) Shaun did do the cam choice and degreeing though. Wouldnt have happened this way without him, so he gets all the credit.
All were NA passes though. Dont even know what kit to use yet. Got this pic outta the vid though.
