The only thing that is gona suck is that there will be a lot of junior dragsters out at TNT. They have an event on Saturday morning. Grudge might be better to go to.

Hey Pat...

I'm down for either night just let me know when you are going. I think Alvin and Del might be down for Friday night but I am not sure.

I know it sux to just sit there and watch the little ones go but i need to log some info and possibly try an couple different tunes while there and if possible maybe the small pulley with the race tune.

Rather do it at TNT than at Grudge.

Dale..... Nice screen-name [Razz]

I'll probably be out for sure Friday it's Grudge i'm not sure about plus got another buddy that my need help with a blower swap.

Just thought i'd post about my outting with the new set-up.

Car really hooked well with a 1.70 and 1.7X and another 1.89. Track prep was pretty darn good [worship]

Overall the car feels really strong through the first 3 gears but seems to stop pulling as strong in 4th.

Needed to richen up the a/f a bit and i think i'm getting some spark blow-out in the upper r's in 4th...but haven't gotten it on a dyno yet to confirm.

Right now i'm running Autolite 103's gapped at a snug .34"

I think i may switch back to an NGk but may just try closing the gap down to about .32"ish and see what happens first.

Best was an 11.4 @ 116 [Eek!]

It was a great run up until 4th.......and then [Roll Eyes] lots more in it once it can go through the traps while still charging.

Doesn't seem too far off but i think i may have to do a little more work. [Frown] [Razz]

Tell ya what these MM full legnth sub. frame connectors made a world of diff in the car....BIG THANKS TO ROBERT(mike's friend) for weldin thme in for me [worship] [patriot]

98Slowhoe - That 116 was the best mph. First run i let out and the 3rd run it broke up again up top so i got outta it quickly.

But not to shabby considering he's probably got 100+ more rwhp and rwtq then you.

I cut 1.64's with a little ol 331, with DR's. Oh and there is Drew on DR's cutting 1.5's, but he does have a solid 100 ponies on me!

Pat- that seems like low MPH for 11.4? are you lifting on the top? Cause shoot I have hit 116mph and best to date is a 11.9

These runs were really just to get familiar with the new car & set-up (clutch, tires, power, etc)

If you've never launched an IRS Cobra it's a little diff. than a solid axle that's for sure.

My buddy Mike who Drew ran was running multiple 1.6x's with the exact same DR's i was using but he's on a stock clutch which seems to slip just enough with his power to leave quickly.

I was basically letting off every run as it seems to fall off a bit in 4th......but like i told Smokinlx it could probably go low, low 11's on 91 and 15* of timing.
