finally got the car to SAC
havent been on a drag strip for over a year, man its been a while, like rididng a bike my ass
drew and I changed the valve springs and retianers for some more rpm friendly pieces that morning and headed to sac in rush hoiur traffic
got to sac at 7pm and it was stil over a 100* ![[Frown]](frown.gif)
Car ran like shit for the first few passes, found out the timing was at 14* TOTAL and the tps sensor was unplugged, thanks drew ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)
added 6* timing and connected the tps, car ran much better, so much more left on the table, hoping for much better results next friday
1.98 - 60'
7.9 @ 96.5 - 1/8
11.95 - 123.08 - 1/4

My job was to setup the valvetrain, (which worked flawlessly ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif) ) You Mr. Master Tech where in charge of puting the rest of the motor together
If I wasn't there coachin, wrenching and finding out the info on your tune you wouldn't even have made the 50 Fastest List! Not to mention your car may have burned to the ground ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)

well with this new development 123 mph isnt that bad
pulled the #6 plug and water came pouring out, the pass before the 123 it blew smoke at the top of third, was hoping it was related to the tps, obviously not
so atleast it hit 123 with a blown headgasket ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif)

just to be safe I am going to do both sides
