I used to run 11.4@119 with no tubes or screws on 8" slicks with my 66. It worked but the tire slipped an inch on each pass.<br /><br />Maybe the 5k clutch drops did that? hmmmm<br /><br />I know it is rare but think if you broke a bead on a slick due to no tube, then wham you hit the wall.
