$50!!! What's going on? Seems incredibly expensive. I suppose if people are paying it, they'll keep hiking the prices.
I've never heard of a more expensive track to run your car down the 1320 in my life.

Their website says $45 but they only run from 12pm to 4pm. That doesn't give you much time to tune anything. You will be lucky to get 4 runs in.
Last time I was there it seemed they could care less about the street cars but they rolled out the red carpet for the guys that trailered there car in. It looked like the street cars were at least 2/3rds of tracks revenue that day... so I would say they need to get their priorities strait.
Maybe I'll just buy a trailer for my car. [ December 03, 2005, 01:29 AM: Message edited by: Mach1Pony ]

I am hoping they keep the site open... look at the development encroaching around there.. that land is more valuable as home sites...

The last time I ran my car on the motor was during the 12-5:00PM TNT getting there right at 12 o'clock. I got in 10 runs! This included charging the batteries, refueling, and dl'ing the run from the MSD box each pass.
One of the 6-10:00PM deals on the Fridy night TNT I got in as many as 7 passes. It is very doable and can make a hell of a lot of changes if need be.
This may be the most expensive track, but the amount of money to be made in the Bay Area/Sac is a hell of a lot more than most of the nation. I prefer the $100 deal from 12-5:00PM (as stated in another thread) so $45.00 for 1 less hour sounds cheap to me

You have to remember that Sacramento Raceway is the only track in northeran California that even offers a Test and Tune. We have no other choice. WE either pay or no play at all.

Whats your point? Im a youngin, im in school here until spring. Thats why im here. Im not going to stay in this hell hole of a state much longer. Im defiantly not going to move somewhere that you have to pay 50 bucks for test n tune. You can do bracket racing here for $40. It's way to expensive to live there for me. But I like your Message boards. Cali is great, ive been there a few times, and will return. But I prefer the east coast for a place to live.

His point was: we would rather pay $50 for test n tune and enjoy California than get free test n tune in Ohio
