Some guys that come to mind that have ran impressive numbers (in the 11's with stock shortblocks) are Jim Langley, Joe Tansey, 91Pony...
I believe there was a guy a few years ago named Jon M. who ran 11.8x in his white 87-91 coupe.
Who holds the title?
Lets make it official so I know who I am trying to catch

Barry Newman of Redding was running 10.90's, stock short block, secret cam, ported high ports. 88 fox, normal weight reductions.

Its a green coupe. Its a light car but has just basic parts 6037s, rpm, f cam. It ran that roughly 4 years ago on a wednesday and backed it up with a low 11.9.

Dunno what the record around here is but TeamSolo and myself both ran hundreds of 12.0's N/A with stock bottom ends in 2 seperate cars both had HCI dealios.
Im going for 11.7ish N/A but this time with All Ford Parts 85k Mile 91 Shortblock,Cast Iron Later Model Ford Heads,Factory Ford Roller Cam etc....We shall see

I want to see someone beat 11.90 at 115mph at 3020lbs car race weight.
(and throw in 100k+ miles on the shortbock... )
