I haven't been down in awhile and it hasn't been mentioned to much. With all the Fast Fords that we are getting around here do the LS1 guy's stand a chance?

Now they can buy AFR LS1 heads. So imagine those w/ a nice cam.

The cars are out there but not many of them are built for track duty. The majority of the fastest ones I have seen are all Bay Area "street race" cars, IE big HP but little in the way of safety devices or major traction upgrades.
I can't compete with the big boys in the Mustang world but my new lil grey truck should be able to pump a lil fear into the 10sec crowd. ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

...and i don't know about you guys but when i hear of "fast/quick" cars i'm automatically expecting low 11's -10's now-a-days
