Saw him dip into the 10 second zone. Nice car.
I got my best on street tires in smog legal trim today too, a 12.69 @112.8 mph.
Nice day at sac today.

What were your 60ft's? 112-113 should get you lo 12's, 12 flat if you hook.

Jay - you should come up to sac with us the next time we go...
We could meet up at the GAS CITY exit on Hwy 5...
I think we're gonna go up again on Wed 2/16 if the weather is good.

Thanks everyone for posting
Sorry it has taken so long for me to reply, I took the long way home from the track..lol
Anyway, the 2nd pass of the day, (which was the first pass that I actually had any traction, the car went 10.96 @ 124.998 with a 1.53 60ft off of the 2 step rev limiter. The next pass I hit the clutch peddle so hard shifting into 2nd that I jam up the switch for the 2 step and it comes on and stays on the rest of the run. Needless to say, not a good pass. Every pass after that the 2 step was disabled, so I was doing things the old fashion way. Then a few more runs go by and I drop in a 10.92 @ 123.9 with a 1.495 60ft. That was my best pass.
I'm sure the car has more in it. Just need to get use to driving it again. Also, the rear suspension was bottoming out and making for tire spin and no big wheelies ![[Frown]](frown.gif) Next time out I'll at least have some adjustable rear shocks ![[burnout]](graemlins/burnout.gif)
Other side notes;
best 60ft of the day was a 1.462 (missed 3rd)
also had a 1.477 (went 11.0 @ 123.9)
Big thanks to everyone who came out to watch. This day has been a long time coming!

1.97 was the best with a bunch of 2.0xxx 60fts. I have 285/35/18 Nitto NT555 tires at 27 p.s.i. Anyone have suggestions on tire pressure for regular radials. I am used to running slicks on my 66, so never had slicks on this car. To say the least I am happy with those 60fts on regular radials.

Where is that exit? I am in tracy right off 205, which is probably on your way. I would live to go on 2/16 however I have class on Weds nights. That will change in March. Keep me posted for the next time you plan on going. Thanks guys
