Bring the mustang!
I plan on going again. I figured out how to make the Nitto's hook a bit better, so I'm fired up.

It's so much easier in the bowtie. Just floor it and go. Well I wouldn't really call it going but you know what I mean, you ran me down, I was just a little fast. I'm not sure yet, chances are I'll have the Caprice though.

OK, but would you mind knocking off that guy in the Jag before I have to line up against him? He won again last week.

Looks like it's misting a little at the track. But hopefully it'll clear up around 2-3 this afternoon. I'll still be coming by to check it out only because it's on my way home.

Conditions were great! Cool and a slight tailwind early on. I got my new best times 13.555 and 13.556.
That consistancy didn't continue into the brackets. I redlighted out in the second round, bummer...
I'm pretty pleased with my old 97. It passed smog this week easily. So maybe it's time for a few mods. [ September 29, 2004, 10:13 PM: Message edited by: ShredTread ]

Heck, if your going to go and red light in the second round you should have let me win in the first. Weather was great a little head wind picked up during elim's and wouldn't you know it ShredTread knocked me out again and yes it was by another break out by the quickness I call The Caprice. Had a 17.75 dialed in and ran 17.743. MAN is that thing fast. But as I told him, I'd have to brag about the tree. Shred cut a .072 and I blew him away with a .013. I'll have the Mustang out next week. Look forward to running every Wednesday until Nov 10th.

The weather was decent but humidty was almost 90% later in the evening. I was having traction issues all night. Had to turn traction control on and ran consistant 2.6-2.7 60 foots bogging off the line. I wasn't too mad because I ran consistant 15.0 at 96mph. Got eliminated in the 2nd round, got beat on the tree... I'll be back next week but in a different car.

Hiddnos, why do you trip about my car so hard? Whenever I post anything you are the first to reply with a even though it's obvious why I ran the times I did.

BECAUSE, "YOU" were the one to talk about how much "faster" and shit that your BUCKET is than many peoples on this site. But with 96 traps, my "womans" stock AODE car is faster, quicker, and just flat out damn nicer than your BUCKET

Well the reason my MPH is down is because i'm running pig rich, below 10 at WOT. I do think my car is faster than your 4R70W GT and I offered to come and race but you always have some type of excuse for not wanting to race (it's my GF's car, it's in the shop, etc). BTW, my "bucket" cost $42,000 brand new in 1995.
