Those rules suck ASS! I thought this was Cafords fastest 25 vs Norcal's fastest 25 You shouldn't need any "qualifying" passes. That practically makes it a bracket race. It's impossible to evenly match 25 races. Just make the lists and match em up 1 vs 1, 2 vs. 2 etc until all 25 go. Run what ya brung style.

those are some stupid rules looks like the chevy's are scared of the little nor cal fords we have runnin around here
looks like I would have to run if N/A:
"Bored and Stroked Class - 356 ci And Up no limit, No Power Adder*3, Stock Style Suspension, Weight Reduction Allowed, must have 2 factory style seats. No Lexan. .500 PRO Light"
and if im on the jug:
Outlaw Class - if you can build and drive it , you can run it ... No nitromethanol or alcohol fuel. .400 Light (back-halfed cars run here) unlimited N20 unlimited motor
that doesnt make any sense at all where do the 331/347 motors have to race in the outlaw and power adder class
I wonder if I could squeeze into the :
Power Adder Class - Stock Style Suspension, 355 ci limit for all cars, Weight Reduction Allowed, must appear "streetable"*4 No Lexan. Any size tire allowed, no wheel tubs.500 Light

Page doesn't work for me what day is this event?

Aaron,
The ruls listed on that page have nothing to do with the CaFaords vs Norcal portion of the event.
The rules are for the main event and with any rules there are always gonn abe people hwo are upset. It's not our fault you have a combo that puts you into a class you don't wanna be in.
I like the unfrair advantage thing some of ya'll complain about. I bet the 03' Cobra and supercharged Saleen guys wont be bitching while they are cleaning up their classes.

so why are you allowing bigger engines for GM cars in certain classes? why not just 355 and lower CI limit in the different classes? You are going to put most the Ford guy's into racing the web site race only.

I guess I'm not the only one having a hard time with understanding this whole thing by the repsonses of others. My car wouldn't even make our top 25 so I'm not worried about it. I just wouldn't expect much of a turn out if these are the rules. To me it looks like you guys are making the rules and the cafords guys haven't had any say. That's just what I see based on others opinions on this topic. I dunno though, I've been outta the loop for a while.

Like I said. The rules have nothing to do with the CaFords vs Norcal race. The rules were made up by a commitee which included PSCA racers Chris Chow and Phil McGrath. I don't understand them myself and had no hand in any of it so I don't know squat.
I do know some of my good friends (Brian Cruice, Crash etc), and myself included, are put into a catagory they have no hope in hell of winning also so it's not like we just catored to our own.
If you have questions reguarding these rule please post them on the official website where people who have some kind of say in the event can read them.

Ohh, as for the bigger engines for GM cars I can only assume it may have something to due with weight differences. A fox body stang can EASILY weight 3000 or even 2800lbs. To get an F-body to weight that much you would have to swiss cheese the interior like none other.
But like I said, I really don't know any of this so please check out the Race Forums.

The DR bolt on class is heads up. And yes you can run all day. I expect there to be a lot of extra runs. That is part of the reason for the high cost of tech card, that and the BOMB ass BBQ wi have planed
