ill be there in the bright ass blue mustang. I see they have a new rule of 12.0 and slower. should make it more interesting, hate when I go to infineon and line up against some 10-11 second car.

Well if anyone wants to say hi to me my car is a Performance Red 2000 GT, it has no plates on it and a temp. permit in the windshield. I'll be the the blonde driving it.
My friend Pat (WildStang) will be there tonight as well in his 02 True Blue GT w/ a cobra front facia, so say hi to him too!
The 12 sec. and street tires only rules won't affect me, however I wonder how the turn out will be and how many racers they will lose because of the new rules..

Its not like many cars that run on wed nights are even capable of running in the 11's. I doubt things are effected much and I doubt that this rule change will be strictly inforced once a few months go by.

well, i ran really crappy, always messing something up on a run. I had never ran on street tires before, could not get traction in second at all, never had been a problem before. to remedy i basicall went half throttle in first to 4000 and shifted to second and babied it untill i knew I had traction then floored it. I was surprised I got traction at all and shifted a little early still (6000ish vs. 6200). well anyways, managed a 2.33 60 lol and a 9.2 @ 84.3 in the 1/8th. for some reason I missed 4th a bunch of times so dont ask for the full 1/4 times ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

oh btw, my brother raced (beat) WildStang in his girlfriends car. He was the one in the white 96 Z28. Incase he wanted to know, the car has moroso intake and cut-out for mods. its fully loaded with all the options and automatic w/2.73's.
was a very good race.

that's the first lt1 i've ever lost too. was a very good race.
track sucked last night, there was absolutely no traction out there, my best run was my first run of a 14.0 at 102.5
i stayed til closing and on my last run at almost ten i spun all the way through 2nd gear. needless to say i'm going to buy a gtech with my tax money, i'm sick of that track.

This was my first time at Sac. I had fun but got worked by a supra twice and then beat up a couple of imports on a staggered tree which was funny. I ran a best of 13.91 @ 102.1. I never really got good traction I could only manage a 2.16 60'. I hope to see low 13 with some sticky tires and improved driving anybody think this possible?

i guess you never been to sears point lol. well, ill definetely be better prepared next time. found out was only runnin 12* instead of the usual 18* or so. I had a whole bunch of problems...
also, my brother didnt mean to call you out to race you. he told the guy controlling the lanes he wanted to race "the mustang" (meaning me) but the guy thought he meant you so he lined you two up. [ February 13, 2004, 12:26 AM: Message edited by: BlueLightning302 ]

I Parked next to you two in the pits... nice cars you both have... I want Wildstangs seat delete kit...
Comments on the track: Worst ever.... I was actually the first car to run... My first run was a 14.8... Yea, spun through first, second, and just put it into third at like 4 grand.... I didnt have any traction all night.. best of a 14.2, which is not good for me... I want my 13.9 again....
