yes that is kevin L.'s car his sn on here is kevin l. , her doesnt post much 339 dart block i think procharger blower very similar car to john91coupe kevin just has the boost a tad higher
i think it has high ports on it
bought a msd box from him a while ago, dont remember the rest of the car
it is very nice

one pass was a high 1.3 and another pass was a low 1.4 they were both 9.0 runs. Not sure of the 1/8 mile times [ February 03, 2004, 05:32 PM: Message edited by: LiL Gray ]

I have a vid somewhere i shot when locke almost put into the wall at Sears Pt Raceway. stock suspension just couldnt hold.

He is a such a cool guy, I bought my PMS system off him when he switched to F.A.S.T. Im glad to hear and see that his tranny is back in and the car is running again. Knock down that 8 second door

Hi All, Yes, that was me (Kevin Locke) at Sac on 31 Jan. Best run of the day was 9.01 at 154 mph. I had a string of 9.0 runs. I really wanted to see an 8 something but I guess I'll have to wait. The car is a 1990 coupe (former CHP) with a 337 blown (D2 procharger) engine. The engine has an A4 block, scat billet crank, eagle rods, custom Cammotion solid roller cam, CP pistons etc. The heads are TFS Twisted Wedge ported by TEA (total engine airflow. The ports in the heads are a work of art. The valve sizes are nothing special at 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust. I use T&D shaft rockers to control the valves. The intake is an Edelbrock victor 5.0 port matched by me. The throttle body is 75mm. I ditched the stock computer a couple of years ago in favor of the speedpro computer setup now known as FAST. That's one of the best things I've done to the car. I recently switched to an aftermarket racing powerglide built by Dynamic. My previous Dynamic Mighty Mite could'nt handle the power. The rear-end has 3.55 gears, a spool, custom steel driveshaft, solid upper and lower arms, moser 31 spline axles, a girdle and is 8.8 inches. Fuel system is custom by me. I use 118 octane racing gas. Hopefully I answered some questions. I'm looking for an 8 the next time out and yes I know I need a parachute.

hows it goin kevin, remember me, i bought an msd 6a from u late at night, like 9-10pm
i know u have a stock looking hood, but is it stock steel or is it fiberglass, it its steel, replace it with a fiberglass one, that will offset the weight of the parachute mounting hardware , and give u some better weight transfer

Pretty sure it's the 3 core sheetmetal intercooler.

I use the stock sheet metal 3-core intercooler that came with the blower kit. It has 3 1/2 inch inlet and outlet. Also, someone asked about 660ft time and mph. Time was 5.82 and mph was 122.3
