Yep! After 2 months of trying we finally clicked off an 11.99!
Drew managed it on the last pass of the day. 1.70 60ft 7.65 @89.99 at the 1/8th 11.99 @114.0MPH in the 1/4 (I had no idea a 1.70 60ft would net an 11! I thought for SURE it was going to take a 1.64 or better)
I also got a new best. 1.71 60ft 7.74 @90.52 at the 1/8th 12.07 @114.6MPH in the 1/4
The right rear was coming down so hard on launch I really need to check the ground effects & make sure they didn't get scrapped up. The front left Pony was catching air on launch.
The BEST part is it didn't take all the 'typical' stuff to get an 11! No TW or AFR 2.02 valve heads, no longtubes, no real wieght reduction, no skinnies, no stellar 60ft, (& no custom cam either! LOL )
Part of me wants to see what the combo can do with skinnies, a drag suspenssion, & 200lbs less weight.....but, I think I proved my point.....there really is no need to go any further. Heather can have her car back! LOL
Great driving Drew!

Yes, Drew can drive. But, I'm less then .1 second behind him & have more MPH. Wouldn't take much for me to get my own 11. Skinnies & a drag launch kit would do it. I think the drag launch kit is coming....but from now on Heather will be driving. Maybe she can be the first Chick into the 11's N/A on the stock shortblock!

That's what I want. I'm not sure if I can get just the air bag & install it in the stock spring. If not, we'll probably end up getting the whole kit...springs & all.

Yes, you can just buy an air-bag(actually I believe they come in packs of two) and it will fit in the stock spring.

I run an air back with the stock spring. Talk to try2paz, he may still have the other bag lying around. They're something like $65 for two from Summit.

I look to be as noble as you and some of the other people on this site one day.
But really though, what makes drew the best driver?

My guess is the fact that he has over 500 quarter mile passes under his belt.
