I swear I could not get traction to save my life. I get better traction on a city street. Even Mid track I was breaking loose. Running BFG KDW's. I suppose I need some slicks. Or is it the breaking cars spewing oil that night. Did anyone else have the same problem?

Last night (Weds)? Surprisingly I had PLENTY of traction for a Weds night. 5K rpm dumps & it held. But that's on ET streets. Actually, a lot of guys out there last night were real surprised at how well the track was hooking. Normally it takes a TNT night to get the track to hold 5K drops on this car.
Although, on DR's & street tires the street always hooks better then a Weds night. If you're really running boost & N2O I'd HIGHLY recomend slicks & a night with a preped track (like TNT).

My best 60ft time ever was on a wed night. 1.63 with a meager sub 300 rwhp setup and stock suspension. ET streets and thats it. AS far as the track no holding under 5k dumps on wed nights, it almost always does that with ET streets Shaun, welcome to the wonderful world of REAL street slicks

Wed nights suck. There is NO track prep at all.But cant blame them with all the raial tire cars showing up,why waste the VHT.
The first time I took my Camaro to the track was on a Wed night deal and it was like driving on ice.I was all over the place and ran a 10.80/126 on motor. The following Sat. during a T&T deal I went 10.32/132 on motor with no changes.
