So how did everyone do? It was my first time racing my car, and here are my results. I beat the SS i was racing too ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif) .

Norm beat the GN ,the mustang ran a 7.6 and the GN ran a 9.x

Just wanted to say thanks to all the people who participated and organized the event. It was alot of fun to watch. My favorite pairing had to be The Brain and Whyt lie. Nice driving Brian.

The mustang made that gn look real slow. Too bad about that guys camaro taking it to the guardrail but it looked like it was going to be a lot worse than it ended up being.

Heather was running pretty good.
She managed a new best of 13.09 @ 108.8mph
She let me drive it the last run of the night....12.8 @ 109.6mph FINALLY got a 12!!! ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

that was my first time going to a event like that and let me tell u i dont regret it one bit...that mercedes was doing good too smokin every one he raced...sucks for the guy that lost it and went into the wall....but that mustang that ran a 7 q/m that was sweet.....ima have to go to more of these...hope everyone else had fun

Ran a string of 12.3x's, til the last run,
.527 RT, 1.78 60ft spinning, 12.20 @ 113.85mph.
Too bad it was against another Stang that I did my best- still wouldn't have been enough to outrun my LS1 counterpart running 118/119mph on a 150 shot (I think.) He had a series of 12.0's then busted out an 11.80 and was booted for no cage. He hit his goal and was happy.
Looks like I have chased off my motor gremlins- now to work on the damn suspension.

I will be honest with you, I didn't think I had a snowballs chance in hell of beating him since according to the list he had run 10.7x's to my 11.4x
Reaction times are what won the races for me.
First, my .858 to his 1.086 (don't laugh, they had us on a Pro .400 tree and neither one of us expected it !!!!!!) I ran a 11.24 @ 122.1 to his quicker but losing 11.02 @ 127.2 I won that race by .016 ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)
Then my .509 to his .858 I ran 11.35 @ 120.6 to his 11.06 @ 127.9 That race was won by .059
Both were VERY VERY VERY CLOSE RACES
It was fun and the car still runs !!! ![[Whoo Whooooo!]](graemlins/woowoo.gif)

I'm glad everyone had fun.
I had a blast!!!
I ran my best time in the C5 with a 12.73@110.9 so I was stoked. Got to meet some really nice people and got to watch everyone else enjoy themselves. I have some ideas for next year which might makes things a lil smoother but over I am pleased and think Sawson did one hell of a job with his ideas on getting a working list together.
Congrats to the winners and to everyone else. Thanks fro making this our best event yet!
