sac needs to lay some of that stuff down more often
i have a good idea for street racing
i dont know how it is applied but put some down a little before a race on the street, u get traction and the guy next to u doesnt
probably would work but oh well, just a thought

people try that on the street but it all depends on how you use it. Usually it does not work because people don't know how to use it.

LOL
Back in the day I used to carry a spray bottle filled with VHT. But I agree with Crhis, some people just spray it on their tires then roll up and try to run, they dont realize that it is initially slick and takes time to get tacky.

We have a truck that trailers a pump/sprayer that lays a coat down the track that is about 7-8 feet wide. However, this would be counter-productive for street racing in that you would have to lay it down quite in advance if you use straight VHT, and about a half hour in advance if you cut it with Methanol...it helps it setup faster. Also the stuff is really expensive, that's part of the reason why it isn't used on Wed night at Sac. TNT, and any event however, it is sprayed. It costs at least $200 per lane to do this for the VHT, plus the cost of the Methanol.
