Well, I went to the track to try and muster a new best time and somewhere along the line I got side tracked and started bracket racing....lol
Highest half track was a 85.8 MPH
Got a new best 60FT also.....1.642
The bracket racing thing went pretty good also. Accidently ended up with a first place

Well, the best half track I have ever had a was a 86.xxx mph. I only did that once. Tonight I got a 85.8 out of this humid weather. So at this point I'm not sure.
Heh, its funny, the first 3 runs I hit the rev limiter in first gear every time...LOL

Well, 86 should net 110 on the big end...

I don't think moving it again is going to do any good. It already screams to the limiter.

Well, I think that cam is ment to make peak power @ 5800. You'd have to shift every gear right at the rev limiter to get the most out of it....& that just isn't going to happen w/the stock limiter!

weird, my car must be falling on it's face (relatively) I hit 86.x mph in the 1/8 all the time (4 or 5 times in two track days), but never better than 108 at the trap and usually 107.

My car is the same way Joe. 86 at half = low 108 for me....I had been blaming it on the weight of my car though. Don't think that excuse will work for you...lol ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
