Last night at grudge he went 12.19@121mph on a 2.0 60' running his stock F1 tires!!
his only mods are:
2002 Black ZO6
Vortex Air Box, T-Stat, TPIS Headers, Custom Off Road X-Pipe
387 RWHP/374 RWTQ
I know some of you could care less what an LS6 ran but think of it as more of a learning experience on what these cars can do with a couple easy mods. There is another guy that runs with ET Streets with similar mods and goes 11.6's.
Prettydamned cool for a car that is equally at home on a drag strip as it is on a road course. Makes me wish I had bought one of those instead of my C5 auto. ![[Frown]](frown.gif)

even i managed 13.9@98.8 with a 2.01 60" with stock 2:73 gearing and a auto on 245 street tires..... only mods i have done are a intake and muffler thats it.. ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

I wanna talk to you about your car bro. I have questions on your ET and MPH. It seems a lil low for the combo. I wanna help you get some speed out of that thing.
Remember mine came stock with 2.73s also. ![[Wink]](wink.gif) But it went a best of 13.5999@102 but avg. 13.65-13.70@101-102mph bone stock.
Lets get to work on that thing bro!

the '02 Z06's got the HP boost right? (what 405 rated HP?)

I seem to remember the '01 Z06's running around 114-115 stock? so maybe the '02's run around 118 stock? sick! almost as fast as a turbo buick! (lol) ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

Yeah the 02's are 405HP.
As for the Buick thing, would you rather sit inside a Buick with their taxi cab interior or a Z06? If you answer the Buick for any reason other than being able to run 11s for cheap I'll slap you. LOL!!!

yeah, i lined up against that guy and boy did i get my ass handed to me! My other buddy was there with the blue 02 Z06 with the 7lb procharger on it. They didnt get good times out of it at all.

He has mildly ported heads, cam, 3,600 converter?, intake, and a TNT wet kit.

I think that is the car that I saw miss 2nd gear twice and still go 122 MPH....lol If they didn't get any good times from that car I think the reason is evident

If the requirements are that you have to buy 'new', I don't know of a better deal out there (all around) than the Z06.
except possibly the '03 cobra, if mustangs are your 'thing'. If not, definitely the Z06.
WRX or something like that if we set the price bar (and performace level) WAAAY down, lol.

I meant before you start spending money bro. I wanna see why your times were slower than mine to make sure nothing is wrong. Maybe there is some free stuff we can do. I also have some ported MAF ends for really cheap if you need em. Or just gimmie your stockers and I'll give you these.

damn turns out after i looked at the vid again that i only got 3/4 of the race (missed the launch)....i guess i realized that it was a sweet vette and started taping late, lol, but if u still want it i can probbaly get it to u somehow....damn if i can only find out how to transfer video shit to the comp...i guess i may go buy the software/hardware for that...

That is the baddest car ive ever taken down the track. Everything was solid and well built. These F-bodies are little matchbox toys compared to those. I went 121 mph and got off at the first exit with ease. Im positive I could have got in to an 11 with another run. I wasnt familiar with the car at all. Made my whole weekend though. Im starting the "everyone else buy chris a Z06" fund. Anyone interested!!??!!
