OK- previous best ET- 12.666 at 107.73, MPH- 108.9 (open h-pipe), 60 ft- 1.78.
Witth the help of Drew, Dan and especially Mark- my heads were removed- one pinhole welded up, and replaced. Bolted up a MAC Prochamber and FlowPath cat-back system. Good fit- nice and loud! Drone at 1800 to 2000rpm. On to the track-
Lot's of 108.6 to 108.9mph's tonight. American Racer tires hooked hard- bit of bog most runs, 14 to 15psi. 5k launches.
1.79 60ft 8.07 at 86.654mph 12.617 at 108.690mph
1.75 60ft. 7.98 at 86.856mph 12.518 at 108.953mph
Upped tire pressure to 16psi- little bit of spin.
1.780 60 ft. 7.984 at 87.316mph
12.510 at 109.451mph!!!!!!!
Drew even taped the best runs! I knew the car felt stronger last night- I just hoped I could equal the mph w/ the open h-pipe. Guess I am just too pessimistic...

Those are some great numbers. Now you get to update your sig. I've been debating whether to buy a 5.0 to play with, or to mod up my car. So its good to see what kind of numbers can be put out of 5.0's. Congrats.

Tonight was PERFECT eh Jim? I seen that run, congrats are in order. I ran my new personal best aswell. I ran a 13.6@100mph with a 1.86 60' (on a FULL street radial; Potenza RE730 275/40 17) I'm sure that with an underdrive pulley and MAYBE a drag radial (for the 1.75's) I can hit a 13.0-13.2...I'll be happy then. BTW: Did you see that stupid T-Bird SC? I got some people on video, taking SHIT about my car right before I raced it. Of course it's gonna beat me...it's a SuperCharged V8 running damn open headers and slicks! (Also was shooting blue flames outta the headers at the end of the ¼) The guy must be a real littledick.

Jim,
Man that car is moving. Congrats on the Great ETs, 60fts and mph. I think you bested Drew's time. Now you will have to let him drive it for all the wrench time he put in on it
TimSpeed87 13.6 at 100mph on street tires, thats some good driving.
I didn't do as well as I was hoping for lastnight. a couple of 13.3s and 13.4s. Then 2 missed 3rd gear shifts on some mid 1.8 60fts. O well theres allways next time.

Thanks, guys! Tim- I think that was a Thunder SC (Super Coupe), Eaton Supercharged V6. Sounded like crap w/ open headers- what did he run? I'll race him...
Mark- you need to find that 1mph you found last week. Add some ET streets, long tubes, and look out!
I plugged my numbers into several different HP calculators on the web- If the car weighs 3200 (per Sac's scale) and add a conservative 150lbs for driver, I get ~350fwhp! Holley needs a cam in their kit to achieve that... JL

Time for some weight reductions I think. But it looks like I'm going to have to try and beat your new best with a better 60ft...lol 109 is far from my reach at this point.
