Anyone else going? Me and my friend (88 IROC-Z) are going to get a few bugs worked out with our cars. I'm gonna try a few different things...see if something doesn't just get me into the low 13's.

Nothing NEW to the vette. I just won't have those huge E/T Streets on this time...and maybe I'll learn to drive it better. My friend told me that he thinks I'm letting off of it too soon, which is why my mph is so low. I'll see I guess. I just wanna really play with my fuel pressure and timing and such.

In some cases this might be a little extensive

The win light is the little light on the side of the track right? I usually do let up when I see this light. But I dunno..maybe my car is just slow I'm gonna pull all my plugs and check the gap, make sure it's at .045. Also, I'm gonna replace my fuel filter and possibly disconnect my knock sensor and run 100 mixed with 91. (To be assured no knock)

Yes, watch a few races, you'll see a bulp on top of a long pole flash next to the lane with the winning car.
I wouldn't run race gas in a stock motored car. Possibly some octane booster though.

Done. Still a minor leak- good enough to drive. Doubled the gasket. Seems to want to pull past 6k now. Doubt that would help my ET but it does feel better than the last time at the track.

Exhaust? Take that junk off of there. This is T&T, you don't need it
