Is it just me, but does anyone else hate when these coperate companies buy out the naming rights to places. ie; 3com park, pacbell park, Infineon raceway. I think it's all

Sacramento Raceway tryed to make the name change to Excelsior Raceway a few yeasr ago. It never stuck, so they went back to good ol' Sac Raceway.
Let's hope Sears Point does the same

It's called 'Infineon' because on a wed night it seems like there are an infinite number of Neons and other rice cars crowding up the staging lanes.

Yeah I was there a few weekends ago for the NHRA Western Championships. It will always be Sears Point to me.
For ~$35 million, I can think of ALOT more things that I would do with that money than to put my companies name on a raceway. haha To each their own I guess.......
Later.

A base model neon ACR would probably hand half the people in this thread their asses in an auto-x course with our modified cars and the MOPAR completely stock.
