What kind of night time air temperatures are typical for Sac these days? Does it cool down pretty good from the day time temps or pretty much close to the day temps? Thanks

There are a few sites that will give you hour by hour statistics for the weather. Here is one of them. http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/KSAC.html

Usually over the summer, at night, it's high 60's or maybe even low 70s. It was like 55 or something last night. It was cold. A lot colder than normal.

Yes, I am if everything goes as planned.
Gabe, I'd be glad to help if I can. At least we could compare some of the settings and see if they make sense. I plan on leaving Alameda around 1:00 to hopefully beat the Sacramento rush hour traffic (Friday AND a Holiday weekend!).

Yeah, I'll be there on Friday. Hopefully I'll be testing out some new 26x10.5" ET Streets on those wheels you sold me.

LOL, go for it, it'll probably be needed. Can you bring the helmet along too? Hey John, do you want to cruise up to the track together? We can meet in Martinez or something and battle traffic up to Sac. What do you think?
edit: well I messed that up, oh well. [ May 20, 2002, 06:12 PM: Message edited by: 5.0Brian ]

Not exactly sure where Martinez is? Is it on the way to Sac from Alameda? I'll be going out on 80 and towing but if it's on the way, sure we can.

It's right off of 680 after it goes through Highway 4 (before you cross the bridge).

I think they start running at 6:00 but not sure when the gates open.
Brian, I never went to Sac using 680, only 80. Do you know if it's longer or shorter using either one?

it really only matters where you start from I always used to take the 680 as the traffic from the southbay was a little less vs. taking the 880 to the 80.

Brian,
Seems like going through Martinez is just as easy as taking 80 so why don't we hook up somewhere in Martinez. Let's figure out how to communicate so I can let you know where I am on my way there. Should take about an hour once I leave Alameda. Shoot me an email at jcgiasi@attbi.com
Talk to you later.
John
