I am looking into the idea of taking my car out to the track. I have never been to watch or to race. If anybody could tell me as much info about it, and how it works, that'd be great. I'd also like to go when it isn't very busy, but then again, I know that's probably going to be tough to do. I also have work off wed and friday this week, so hopefully I'll get out there with you guys. Thanks

Well you go thru the first gate and pay and sign your life away. Then they # your car and assign u to lanes depending i think on your motor size. You line up in a single file line in your lane untill its your turn to run. When u go up and race and finish you then get your timeslip and go back and lign up in the lane u were assigned to. You keep doing this till the track closes and usuall you will get 4-5 runs in on a good day and 2-3 on a bad day.
Good Luck and Have Fun!

You will need to bring a helmet if your car goes in the 13's or better. They will let you run once, then they may ask about your helmet if you did better than 14.00. You need simple safety equipment,(seatbelt) and that's about it. Last time I went, it was around $30 on wed. and $40 on Friday or Sat.
I hope to be heading up there on Sat, may 4th.
Hope this helps!!

What goes on at Sac on Saturdays? I thought that the T&T on Saturdays were moved to Fridays, so what kind of day is it on Saturdays? I would love to go bak to Sac, but Fri at 6 driving from Oakland, is MAJOR TRAFFIC. Saturdays, would be cool though, as I went the last sat for T&T before they switched over. Let me know! Ill make a trip out on a Saturday!

It cost $15 to run on wed., (bracket racing) and like previously said, $40 on fridays for T&T. Saturdays are Summit races, $40 to RACE <----bracket racing.
I'll be out there on wed, let me know if you are going to show up and I'll walk you through the basics. Just look for the only yellow SN95 out there.....lol

What time do things start up on friday? I can't make it on wednesday, but I'd really like to go this week. Are fridays busy also? I'd like it if there were other guys from the board there, that way I could ask some questions. Let me know.

Hey Justin, do you want to meet me at my work again (The Shed Shop in Martinez, the same place as the show)? I'm definitely going on Friday. Let me know what's going on and what time and all that.
