Had a great night at TNT.
Reminded me of the TNT of old having fun with a lot of friends
Finally got the Cobra running well and was able to not only back up my runs but kept them all pretty consistant.
Run #1 - 1.698 60 ft
- 7.267 1/8 @ 98.601 mph
- 11.251 1/4 @ 125.693 mph
Run#2 - 1.648 60 ft
- 7.302 1/8 @ 98.181 mph
- 11.302 1/4 @ 125.054 mph
Run#3 - 1.640 60 ft
- 7.963 1/8 @ 70.977 mph
TRIED TO POWERSHIFT 2-3 AND MISSED
Run#4 - 1.608 60 ft
- 7.225 1/8 @ 100.659 mph
- 11.230 1/4 @ 125.26 mph
Funny thing the best pass #4 came after hot-lapping the car with only a 5 min cool down w/o ice etc.
To top all that off check out the Street Racing section

Yup...stock shafts, IRS brace, 17" MT DR's.
Did you get the BAP already.
I talked to my buddy at the track but they were partying that night and haven't spoken with him yet.
We should be able to get the blower swapped this week.....so you can come up to race on the weekend [ October 15, 2006, 08:43 PM: Message edited by: TRIXSNK ]

Does that irs brace help??? Can you still squat with it?

the irs brace definately helps keep the rear end together. But it doesnt do anything for the stock halfshafts.
I few months back when I first got my D/Rs, I launched hard at infineon and snapped my left halfshaft before I drove 60 feet...

Ryan - Thanks man it feels good.....but now it's time for some 10's
Cummins - Can't feel a diff. with the brace just to hold the POS cover together. Mt car doesn't really squat hard (Steeda springs) but it does feel like it's transferring the wieght well. Haven't seen the vids yet.
Lilghoust - I didn't know you snapped a shaft What tires, rpm, slip vs. dump

oh ok I thought that they may be strut braces to help hold camber steady and prevent the tires from tucking up at an angle. Wrong irs brace I guess. I'm on irs and I'm always looking at ways to lower my 60 they just aren't good enough.

To be honest i don't launch the car hard enough to cause tucking probs maybe with more HP and bigger nutz.....but i don't own a trailer or tow vehicle......YET!
