I don't know if anyone from the site was at Sac Raceway tonight, but if you were, did anyone happen to get any vids of any of the AED cars tonight?

Yeah yeah, I kinda remembered that when the ticket lady was hanging out of the time slip booth punching my arm!....lol
We had three cars out there, an 07 GT500 that went 11.40@129, a 04 Cobra that went 11.06@127(missed 4th ) and Shaun's 93 Cobra which went 10.4@137 with a busted tranny on his only full pass of the night,(no 2nd gear).
So yeah, we all got the boot, but it was still a blast actually going to the track!

Did they boot you after one pass?
I plan on shooting for a 10 second slip and I like Wednesday because it is only $15. I don't want to pay $50 for a test and tune and get booted after one pass. I don't have a cage.

Yeah, they kicked us out. If you're shooting for a 10 second pass on a Wed. night race, you better have a car capable of running deep 10's at a TNT. You will be doing a whole lot of this ---> [ May 23, 2008, 10:39 AM: Message edited by: Yellow94GT ]

How about the grudge races? Is the prep any good?
I want to be able to get a 1.6x 60ft. I have done a 1.57 60ft at Infineon with my ET Street bias ply's and less power. I just ran an 11.55 with a 3.6" pulley on the S-trim (9psi) at 120.5mph with my Nittos. I actually got a 1.725 60ft, but then they spun all the way through 2nd. One of my eliminations had a 1.733 60ft and 2nd only spun a little. I was a tenth quicker at the 1000ft than my two 11.55 runs but I lifted and ran a 11.689 on my 11.66 dial at 105mph.
I have run 125.7mph with my 3.33" pulley (12psi)which should get me a high 10 with a 1.6 60ft. I may get a 2.95" pulley setup before my 10 sec attempt, which should get me around 15psi of boost and close to 130mph. I should be in the 10's with a 1.75 60ft as long as 2nd hooks up. I don't know if my fuel system can support this pulley though. It was okay with 12psi, but I think the stock rails and lines may have an issue once I pass 500rwhp. I am guessing that my 125.7mph setup is around 480rwhp.
I need a clutch first. After my two 11.55's last week it started slipping bad again. I did however make to the final and won. I dialed up to 12.86 and sand bagged my buddy after the clutch slipped bad and the other guy broke out. Then I launched super soft and granny shifted my way to a 11.91 on an 11.86 dial. I dialed to a 11.76 but the clutch slipped bad again when I tried to launch it harder and slam 2nd. I still won because the other guy red lighted!

Well, Id have to say swap that cobra intake for a "simple" holley systemax and get much better times.

I can't put a cage in it right now, so I am having a hard time as it is keeping it above 11.50. I am only running 17 degrees total timing from 4k up and I have a rich 11.5:1 AFR.
If I ever get a cage and want to go real quick, then the heads and intake will get swapped and a water-meth kit added. However, all the other drivetrain pieces will need upgrading as well! I will be lucky if my wife even lets me get the clutch that I desperately need.
