YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
The cool thing is you are basically right there with a bunch still on the table in the first 60 feet!
A low 1.9x 60ft should be the ticket.

What tires are you running? I was cutting low 1.7's and hit a 1.685 on my MT Dr's.

BFG DR's @ 15psi I'm still learning this whole drag racing thing. lol This makes the 5th time I've been to the track w/ a manual car, I'll learn
I could use some of Luke's skills ,what he and some of the other guys here could do w/ 108mph. ![[worship]](graemlins/worship.gif) [ May 02, 2006, 06:30 PM: Message edited by: Tinner ]

I saw your car out there. Nice looking setup.
I'm thinking you are running those BFG's too low on air pressure. I run mine at 24 psi, but they are a little wider than yours. I would put the air pressure up around 20psi next time and see how she does ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

It's really funny how cars can be so different. I luanch at 4100/4200 or so and slip that clutch out pretty fast actually on sunday. I thought the track was hooking pretty good! I am sure you will get it next time out. It was a little warm on sunday too. Maybe try to hit up a friday night TNT before it gets too hot out!

Ok?...lol
You are heating the tires plenty.
Your not racing on slicks. If anything, you are just waisting tire. You need to play with your tire pressure and get the clutch engagement right.
You can believe what I'm saying. My car averages mid/high 1.6's on 18 inch DR's ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Yeah man I have my tires at 18 psi. You are definantly gona want to play with the tire presure. You just don't drop the hammer and let the clutch fly with DR's you have to let it slip just enough to get you going fast but yet not to fast where your tires spin. I am just starting to get the hang out of how to race on the DR's it just takes time.

Thanks man! But the fact remains, you hold a 12 sec slip and I don't.
Your car has A LOT left on the table as well.
Best of luck! Luke
