Last November's best was a 13.959 @ 99mph, with gears and a C&L MAF. Since then, I've added pullies, the C&L Trueflow pipe (I'm undecided whether that is actually helping or hurting), and removed the spoiler & rear seat.
On Wednesday I went out, and was disappointed with my sloppy, inconsistent 60 fts. My times were anywhere from 2.2-2.4 with E.T.s in the 14.0-14.5 range.
I decided to go out again today, and the first three runs were pretty much the same as Wednesday. Talking to someone else at the track, he suggested that I try lowering the air pressure in my rear tires.
I didn't think it would work, but I went ahead and took his advice, lowering my pressure from 30 to 20psi, and, after about a one hour cool-down period, I lined up to run. The launch felt awesome, almost no tire spin. I looked up and the light said 2.01 !!! I'm on stock goodyears, and didn't think that would be possible, so I continued down the track, thinking, "just drive, and a great time will come out of this run." The result is in my sig, and I backed it up with a 13.8 run with a 2.1 60ft.
Thanks,
