Man, I ran all last season on a stock clutch and then upgraded to a King Cobra clutch and first time at the track on the very first run from second to third shift it fries itself..real fucking great. Had to be flatbedded home..anybody got any clutch ideas on a good one to go with. Suppose to start a new job today and can't even get the car out of the garage under it's own power.

That is odd that you where able to fry the king cobra . Did you replace/resurface the flywheel? Anyway, a lot of people have been using the SPEC stage 3 clutch and liking it. It can handle quite a bit of power. You may even be able to just use the stage 2 if your not planing on make lots of power.

Hey Sawson...Dugan Racing here in Atlanta installed the Cobra clutch, and from everyone I've talked to they said it was probably installed incorrectly. Anyways I have a relative that is putting in a Ram street/strip clutch that is pretty sweet. The bad thing is when I called Dugan they basically told me to eat a dick, so needless to say they just lost major business from me. How hard would it be for me to install the clutch myself, is it really hard?? I do have the chilton's manual, if that would really help me. Or it's 250 bucks for my relative to put it in. What do you guys think??

I have the RAM 900 series clutch in my car and I have no complaints. It isn't the best daily driver/street clutch, but it GRABS HARDS
