Well.. I got a new time.. not what i was shooting for but i was having some trouble with the car bogging alot.. I think i fixed it though..I think i got at least 6-12 runs last night..
Best run out of the hole night..
60ft:1.954
1/4: 12.449
MPH:112.546
I cut a 1.8 60ft but the car bogged half way through 2nd and i figured it wasnt worth trying to run it so i cruzed it to a 13.5.. I was soooo pissed cuz that would of been my 12.3 or 12.2 that i wanted.. Fuck it.. Next time im going with control arms and maybe slicks.. ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

Slicks for sure. You have a 12.1 hiding in that car. Maybe you should try the "Drew Mod" ?

It hurt to be running street tires with the 4.10's in the rear end. Next time I go I'll bump the timing up from 10* to 14* and be running some Slicks or ET streets and hit 13's with no prob. I was very pleased to run that with the automatic.

i dont have a direct port, my kit says "DIRECT ASS WHOOPIN" on the side of it! maybe its a special edition kit for killin notch's...... ![[Cool]](cool.gif)

I think if you want your car to do a certain time you should do it not someone else driving your car. I don't think it counts if someone else does it.

Having someone else drive you car who is "better" or whatever you want to call it is just a way of seeing what your car has in it. Or ever MORE importantly how much you need to improve your driving. I am not saying you should post your best ET with someone else driving. But its nice to know what your car "can" do with the right driving. And if a good drivers can't make a better pass you know your driving the car well. You can figure out the cars potiental with math calculations. Get it dynoed and weighted and then do the math.
Just like Chris said you don't get respect for having someone else drive your car better than you. I think thats pathetic.

I find it more fun to race my car and then improve on my own times as my driving still improves. I don't see how having someone else set a standard that I cannot reach because I can't drive for shit would be any fun.
Also what happens that one time when something unexpected happens and the car doesn't go in a straight line and instead it's packed into a wall?
