I want to come up to the TNT on the 9th but have noticed that the weather forecasts are starting to predict rain late in the week. Does anyone know what Sac.'s policy on rain is, i.e. if it rained the night before, is the track automatically closed or... Any information you guys might have on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

best advice is get the # for somebody local. Ask them if it's already raining or looking bad before you go.

Sigh- no, you should call the track and see what the recording says. Let's see if this works-

Cool thanks Jim, I figured calling the track info # would work too. I just wanted to know if there were any commonly known policies on rainouts up there.

They also sometimes give vouchers so you get in free at the next event. Thats more like if the weather looks good then out of nowhere it rains. If its been on the news and it looks like its going to rain and it does and you come anyway they sometimes will tell you your Shit Out of Luck. ok my policy is if i look out side and the streets are drying up, but it's still dark and cloudy outside, i go. but if it's still really wet in the morning then i don't even bother. i hate when it rains! no worky = no pay!
