I was a Ford mechanic back there too. I bought my truck here knowing it wasn't gonna be anything I'd hang onto for too much longer once I move back out west. It didn't matter how often I hit the underbody car wash in the winters the car got some rot and still has some today. I ended having them install a k-member and coil overs and they found some corrosion. Asked if I wanted it to be treated. I just asked them to knock the rust off with a wire wheel and the treated with POR-15. <br /><br />I don't know what the line item charge was tho.
