Anybody made this move? Thinking of getting rid of my fully loaded/ premium 2011 gt for a 2015+ f150, really looking at a v6 n/a or ecoboost, will be my DD and tow my foxbody on rare occasions.
For what I need seems a base model will do, but the power of the Ecoboost is tempting but worried about the longitivity / problems to come with the turbo.. any feedback with people who own ecoboost models? [ 2017-06-05, 10:46 PM: Message edited by: ed650 ]

Don't get the N/A V6. Get an Ecoboost. I just picked up a '17 with the 2.7 and I love it. I could only imagine how much more fun the 3.5 Eco is. Plus it gets pretty good mileage for a 4wd truck. On the freeway I've gotten up to 23mpg so far. Mixed driving I'm getting 19-20mpg.

The 2017 F150 XL with STX package have huge rebates. Seen advertised prices at 35-36k for a 4wd Super Crew. Super cabs are being advertised for 30-32k for a 4wd. They have power windows, 6" monitor w/ backup camera. Crazy what you get with the STX now.

Get the Eco. If you need anything.. let me know. I can get you hooked up on tow tunes, performance tunes, etc. On facebook, look up SSI Performance. The BEST for Ecoboost tuning.
