The only way Alex Smith is getting to another Super Bowl is if he buys a ticket.

The 49ers won 2 games this year..... So I'd say Smiths chances of getting to another SB are far better than SF finishing above .500 next season.

The 9ers being 2-14 has nothing to do with Alex Smith not being able to close the deal at KC. In fact, it's more proof he sucks. Everyone kept saying it was the 9ers fault he wasn't good because of all the coaching changes. Well, he's had the same coaches for four seasons now, where's his ring? He was mediocre in SF and he's mediocre in KC. Face it. He's no better than Romo, Cutler or Rivers. Good enough to win enough games to keep his job, but shitty enough to let you down in the post season. [ 2017-01-16, 06:45 AM: Message edited by: wilit ]

LOL! I was at the game, and it was a heartbreaker!
To be honest, I saw that happening. Rodgers was hot going in, and I knew it would be tough for a rookie QB and RB to keep up. They were shaky in the beginning, and it cost them the game.
Till next year!

Alex Smith really didn't have a bad game. Big Ben didn't even throw a TD. If it wasn't for their kicker setting a new playoff record, they would've lost the game.
Like I said better luck next year.
That goes to the Cowboy fans..... who this post was really about.
